The Modes are designed with specific pulse frequencies and lengths and can be selected by quickly pressing the centre on/off button on the device. The modes are listed here: Mode 1: Scraping. this mode imitates the effects of the Gua Sha scraping technique how a massage tool scrapes the skin to improve circulation along with targeted pulses to provide relief. Mode 2: Tapping: this mode uses acupuncture type pressure to guide the body’s energies to travel along specific pathways to provide relief. Mode 3: Acupuncture: the unit mimics the principles of acupuncture to provide targeted pressure to stimulate the nerves to provide relief. Mode 4: Cupping: this mode mimics the cupping which is a therapy technique similar to deep tissue massage to provide relief. Mode 5: Tai Chi: this mode starts with a low intensity muscle contraction and builds to more rapid contractions to provide relief. Mode 6: Kneading: this mode mimics the movements associated with a massaging technique that compresses soft tissue to relieve pain or discomfort. For each mode, you can control the intensity ranging from low level intensity to high level intensity by pressing the (+) or (-) symbols on the device - you have 20 levels to choose from.
